Just this week LeAnn Rimes’ husband defended his wife over the criticism she gets for her slender figure – insisting that she eats healthy and works out hard to maintain her trim body. Now the country star has spoken out about her weight, and has accused the media of virtually bullying her by suggesting she has an eating disorder,
“No, I am not [anorexic or bulimic]," LeAnn told Ellen DeGeneres on her chat show. "[The press has] been very irresponsible [about] calling a lot of people fat or anorexic or bulimic or whatever it may be. It seems like bullying now instead of really taking these diseases seriously that a lot of people are going through. [Anorexia and bulimia] are diseases, and using them as name calling [is] almost like bullying.”
We actually feeling pretty fed up of hearing about LeAnn’s weight, so she must be SO over talking about it.
At peace
Lucky for LeAnn, weight and eating disorders weren’t the only prickly subjects that TV host Ellen wanted to tackle, she also asked LeAnn about the affair with her now husband Eddie Cibrian
"Obviously we made decisions that were not necessarily the right ones but it obviously brought us to the place where we are now, We're happy and we're married... And we've always put his kids [with ex-wife Brandi Glanville] first.
“I think we have both come to a really good place in our lives, and right now, I'm really at peace.”
