Heath Ledger’s ex-fiancee Michelle Williams has spoken openly about how she is coping with her loss for the first time since Heath’s unexpected death back in 2008.
Since Heath’s tragic passing Michelle admits she is still feeling the impact on her life. In an interview with Vogue the actress said how much things have been changed by what happened but how she is determined to have new relationships in the future.
"It's changed how I see the world and how I interact on a daily basis, it's changed the parent I am” Michelle and Heath had a daughter Matilda during their time together. “It's changed the friend I am. It's changed the kind of work that I really want to do. It's become the lens through which I see life - that it's all impermanent." She said.
Michelle was engaged to Heath before they broke up prior to his death in 2008. However, the Blue Valentine actress is hopeful for more romance in the future:
"Relationships have always seemed mysterious, and therefore worth exploring, I'm single, so it's still kind of a mystery - a worthwhile mystery, one that I want to be on the scent of."
