Stunning actress Michelle Pfeiffer has spoken out aboput the taboo subject of plastic surgery in Hollywood. The star is embroiled in a profession where most men and women believe that they need to appear at their best at all times, which for most means indulging in a little botox, or going under the knife to take back the years.
Michelle, 53, has said that she doesn’t see anything wrong with cosmetic surgery and she also believes that people are too quick to judge others who may opt for a procedure to enhance their look. She told Elle,
"I'm all for a little here and there - fine. It doesn't matter to me if people have plastic surgery or they don't, or if they do Botox…But when people don't look themselves anymore, that's when you go, 'Oooh,' and it's kind of sad. It's uncomfortable for us but if they're happy with what they see in the mirror, does it matter?"
It seems that the subject has offered up a split debate amongst many Hollywood stars. Julianne Moore says she believes that major work like facelifts appear “too obvious”, whilst fellow actress Salma Hayek agrees that there is “nothing beautiful about it”. What do you Heatworld Citizen’s think?
