When we offer our hand for a handshake with Jedward and in return get a high five, we know that this is going to be one of those interviews that we don’t control. On planet Jedward, it’s Jedway or the highway. It’s 11am and the boys are already bouncing off the walls. We wrestle them into a chair, ready to grill them on life in Celeb BB, girls and their album. But we don’t make the rules here, so we just get what Jedward want to tell us; showmances, “totally cool stuff” and Tara Reid and oh, more Tara Reid. Did we mention Tara Reid?

How do you feel after CBB?

John: We’re at Heatworld! John and Edward here were totally excited; awesome it’s our first interview after being on Celebrity Big Brother

Edward: CBB was crazy, it was really cool, people were able to find out our secrets - that me and John had and dancing around in our underwear and getting vajazzles and all that type of stuff. It was crazy since we have come out the house…

J: Celebrity Big Brother was really, really weird cause we were totally star struck by Tara Reid, we were like oh my god it’s Tara Reid because we have seen all her movies,

Was she the person who you were most excited about meeting?

J: We were the most star struck by her; we were quite shy around her. We’d met everyone else before. Kerry Katona on the red carpet and we met Amy Childs when we were out shopping and she called us over to take a picture with her so that was cool. Everyone else we had no clue who they were, and we had to act like we knew who they were…

Were you a little bit annoyed that you didn’t win?

E: Were totally cool, the point was me and John are born winners we can’t lose, ok?

J: It’s all about the good vibe and being crazy.

E: Me and John don’t need to win to win

Do you feel like bigger stars now that you are out?

J: I feel the UK public have more of an understanding of me and Edward and they know what we are about – having loads of fun!

What was your best bit in the house?

E: I think the best thing was meeting everyone in the house as they were so easy  to get along with but me and John did such cool things; we made short shorts, made cool t shirts…

What was your favourite outfit?

E: Our best outfit was probably our tiger outfit on the launch night. We only bought it the day before!

One of the Heatworld editors is a big fan of these [heat points to Jedward’s panda trainers] she wrote a story solely (snigger) about them when you went in.

J: Basically they are Jeremy Scott, they are pandas and are very cool. Although when we go through security at airports they always check them and x-ray them.

So you are big panda fans then?

E: Yeah, we are we wore them in Asia,
John: Yeah and China.

Who are you going to miss most from the BB house?

E: The person we are going to miss most is Tara Reid because she is totally cool. Amy Childs as well. We’re going to miss Amy Childs’ fake tanning and Kerry Katona’s blonde hair that looks like ours. We will text them all.

How many of their numbers do you have saved on your phone?

J: [Looking smug] We have Kerry’s number, Amy’s number, and Tara Reid’s number.

E: We don’t have everyone’s number because we didn’t get the chance, but we have been texting Kerry Katona loads; we pretend we are Big Brother, “this is BB can Kerry please make sure she has her microphone on”. We have been texting Amy too and Tara, though she went back home two days ago.

Are you going to go out to America and visit Tara?

E: Oh Yeeeaaaah.

And buy a big house next to hers?

J: We were looking at houses. Before Tara Reid left we were hanging out with her for like six hours. [Randomly switches subject] Basically we have a new album out, it’s called Jedward Victory, it’s the best album ever, and every single song is amazing.

We will get to the album. Apparently Lucien and Kerry are getting it on, now Amy is definitely single would you go out with her?

E: Kerry and Lucian are not going out, it’s a showmance.

J: Yeah a showmance

E: Yeah it’s not true. And Amy is her own person - She doesn’t need to go out with someone.

So you don’t fancy Amy then?

J: Us and Amy are totally cool, ok? Amy Childs told me and Edward that we were her type. She loves me and Edward.

Amy, Kerry and Tara - Snog, Marry, Avoid?

J: Ok,  Snog Tara Reid, marry Amy and avoid Kerry [Evil laugh] Kerry knows we are cool!

If one of you did get a girlfriend, would the other twin get jealous?

E: If one of us got a girlfriend, it would be no big deal, ok?

J: [Randomly changing subject again] Big Brother was like a three-week sleepover. It was like we invited Kerry Katona, Amy Childs and Tara Reid and they invited their friends and they all want to be in our music videos, they are all in competition for that.

Would you let them be in you music video?

E: Yeah, Tara Reid wants to be in our music video. How cool would that be? It would be an all -time classic.

You really like Tara don’t you?

J: Kerry wants to be in the video too

Would you let her?

J: Yeah she could be like a Mom or something in the video.

Which one of you has kissed the most girls?

E: John

So what does the other one do when one of you is kissing?

E: [sadly] I don’t know.

How many girls give you their number every week?

J: Thousands! From every single fan, we get their number or twitter.

Do you tweet back?

E: We tweet people all the time. We have got an extra eighty thousand followers since BB. Our mom was tweeting for us when we were in the house.

Which city do you get the most female attention in?

E: Sweden, Germany, Russia, and Dublin….

J: Definitely.

E: Dublin and London are the best. And everywhere else! I don’t want to start a fight! They are all crazy.

Would you ever date twins?

J: Yeah! They would have an understanding of what it is like to be twins! We would need to find a really cool pair, or maybe one twin could be cool and the other twin could not be cool. They can’t be boring, they need to have fun and go to the beach.

Fun and the beach. Got it. Are Jedward good boyfriends?

E: Yeah I would say we are, our fans always say “The girl who finds you guys is going to be really lucky” and We’re like “Yeah...”. We would be the best boyfriends ever.

Where would you take Heat if we were going on a date?

J: We would go to the beach and have big massive surfboards, go surfing, play mini-golf and get some sushi. Then we’d go to a Jedward concert.

E: And get a private helicopter to the concert.

You danced around in your pants a lot on CBB. Would you ever take us out and show us some dance moves?

E: Yeah! Me and John are so good at dancing that the girl needs to be able to dance as well.

Would you have to audition a girlfriend then?

J: No, not really.

E: John! We can’t go to the clubs if the girl’s can’t dance!

Do you both have the same taste in music?

E: Me and John like real feel good songs, and fun songs you can dance to. Pop music, everything, it depends what mood you are in.

J:  Its weird cause me and Edward are really competitive, so when we hear a new music artist we are like “What the hell?”. We want other music stars to do well. We want Miley Cyrus to get back out there. She’s not as famous as she was but she is famous.

Is there anyone else that you want to collaborate with?

J: Paris Hilton. She did those two singles then she disappeared.

Isn’t Tara Reid friends with her? Maybe she can help?

J: We love Tara Reid. Tara Reid gave us bracelets with diamonds in it and it had real tiger stones in it. Then one night she was staying in London and she booked a table a Nobu and asked us to come but we couldn’t make it because we were on the Big Brother after show bit.

Ok, clearly you love Tara Reid. If you hadn’t made it on the X Factor would you have auditioned for BB?

E: No way! That’s crazy! If we hadn’t of done UK X Factor we would have gone over to America and we’d be doing their X Factor or American Idol.

American Idol? Do you think you would have impressed Simon Cowell?

J & E: Totally.

Would you ever do Strictly Come Dancing?

J: I think we should be dancers cause we are really good at it. We never thought though, in our wildness dreams we would do CBB. It’s really weird - we get freaked out by the eye. We are proud of ourselves because we have done CBB.

But you would have never done the normal one?

J: No.

E: We so would have John!

J: No way!

J: I think the CBB one is good because we are all famous, whereas the other one they are trying to get famous. You’re not sure what their persona is and whether they are being real.

What would happen if only one of you was on a reality show. Would that ever happen?

J:  We would do them all together;  Strictly, Dancing on Ice etc.

David Walliams has been swimming the Thames this week, would you ever cut off your famous hair for charity?

J: Erm, if me and Edward raised unbelievable amounts. If we got everyone together in Wembley and everyone was screaming our names

E: No way.

J: Maybe if we raised a billion?

But David Walliams swam the Thames for a million, a million is quite a lot!

J: If we raised four million, two million each, then maybe.

Is it true you were going to go on X Factor for the judge’s houses round?

E: We couldn’t do it because we were doing BB. Louis was really disappointed.

J: He had to have Sinitta and go for second best.

Do you think you would be good judges?

J & E: Yeah!

What would you catchphrase be?

J: “I don’t know what it is but you have it” or “You are definitely a star, you are ready to join the family”

E: Or “You’re so hot right now and I’m talking about both ways.”

Does Jedward ever relax?

E: Before we went on BB everyone was like “Are you always like this?” and we proved that we are but when we want to relax we just buy loads of food and eat it all.

So you won’t be disappearing off on a big holiday?

J: No. Actually, maybe to LA to see Tara Reid.

E: We like coconut water.

Errrr ok. Me too. What’s next for you guys?

E: We are going to Sweden and to an awards ceremony this Saturday, and we have the tour. We are touring in Germany all next week, then back to London and playing the Hammersmith Apollo.  We have a new programme on CBBC and a new one for Ireland for making peoples dreams come true and we are branding ourselves. We’re also having a big meeting with Tara Reid and she is going to give us loads of ideas. Like the Kardashians made like 60 million last year and she thinks we can easily do it.

Wow, so in ten years are we still going to be seeing Jedward?

J: We are going to have done loads more things by then.

And you won’t be sick of each other?

J: No way!
