Adele has better get practicing her posh accent and her curtsey. The much-loved, down-to-earth singer has admitted that she’s “common as muck” (her words, not ours), but would love to hangout with the younger members of the royal family.
“American people think I am posh even though I am really not,” Adele tells The Sun. “They think I have a very British accent, as in: 'Do you know the Queen?' I just laugh at them. In England I am thought of as common as muck.”
We’d never say that about you, Adele.
The Someone Like You singer also said how she’d like to go out on the lash with Prince Harry and loves newlyweds Will and Kate,
“I'd like to know a couple of the royals, though. I'd love a night out with Prince Harry, he seems like a right laugh. I love Kate Middleton, she's brilliant. And I love William.”
Fame
Adele also told how she’s not interested in being a celebrity, in fact she prefers being at home baking for her dog to hanging out at showbiz parties,
"I am pretty oblivious to everything. I'm not very in touch with the fame side of things, it doesn't interest me at all.
“I started learning to bake in August 2009 because I hadn't been home for a very long time and wanted to do something homely,” continues the singer, “So when I got back I got loads of cookery books and it was just me and my little dog hanging out.
"I made dog biscuits to start with, then I started making human biscuits after Louis, my dog, showed me I had a knack for cooking."
And just when we thought we couldn’t like Adele any more than we already do… we find out she makes biscuits, too!
