Despite singing about love and heartbreak, Kelly Clarkson has revealed that she’s never actually been in love herself,
“I've never been in love. I've never experienced certain things, and I think that's because I have this side of me that is shut off,” Kelly has told USA Today. “Because I haven't found anybody yet to open to that I feel like, 'OK, you're worth breaking down that wall for.' I've never found that.”
But the Mr. Know It All Singer confesses she’s not giving up on finding Mr. Right, but she’s waiting until she’s in her 30s because she believes she’ll have a longer lasting relationship, “Because statistically, if you wait that long, you're not going to get divorced,” Kelly claims.
Controversy
The singer – who’s been in the public eye for 10 years now – also admits that she’s still not comfortable with fame, and that the most controversial thing she does is go out with no make-up,
“Celebrity is weird,” admits the American Idol winner, “I have no controversy. You don't see me in rehab, or you don't see me coming out with my hey-haw showing. There's not much to report. So when anything little is reported, it's like 'Oh, my God, she wasn't wearing makeup!' We have one life and I want to have good character, I want to be around people with good character who have good motives."
We love Kelly precisely because she’s so down to earth and normal.
