We weren’t surprised to hear that Michelle Obama doesn’t mind breaking a sweat, have you SEEN those arms?!
The very toned First Lady has let us in on a little secret about her work out regime, she tends to listen to one of our favourite divas; Beyonce. We have to say we agree with the First Lady, if you like us are too poor to afford the gym, do what we do and try learning the dance to Bey's hit Single Ladies...you'll feel the burn!
Fans of Mrs Obama were able to ask her questions on Twitter, which she answered by video link on YouTube. Michelle spoke about her love for exercise and how important it is for people (young and old) to stay in shape! Oh we do love her. Michelle says,
"I always love Beyoncé, so anything fast-paced that she's doing is a good one for me. But I have very eclectic tastes, so my playlist on my iPod, which I listen to, runs from fast paced to a little more mellow...I would just say listen to whatever you like and whatever's going to get you motivated and for me, that's a lot. The important thing is that you get up and try to get that workout in.
She also went on to talk about how much her husband, President Barack Obama, enjoyed exercising with her (no, not in the dirty way Heatworld Citizens).
"You may not be as fanatical as me or the President. You might not be able to do it every day but working out a couple of days a week will make a difference, particularly for young people."
We’re behind you all the way Michelle! With the amount of times we’ve dunked biscuits into tea tonight, we’re sure we’ll have arms like you in no time!
