Girls Aloud send Sarah Harding to rehab

Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle have allegedly demanded that Sarah Harding goes to rehab, or she will miss out on their reunion tour.

An insider told The Mirror, “It’s been one of the worst-kept showbiz secrets that the girls are going to be reforming next year to mark their 10-year anniversary. They want these to be their best shows yet to make sure they come back with a bang and are coming up with some huge ideas. But as preparations started to get under way, the girls realised that, because of her party lifestyle, Sarah was unlikely to be in a fit shape to do it.

“Sarah was so excited about getting back on stage with the girls, after they took a break in 2009, and sometimes you just need to hear the truth from your closest friends. So Sarah decided to check herself into a rehab facility in America of her own accord to prove to the girls that she was serious about the tour – and also to try to win Tommy back. The girls are fully supporting her and are saying they will be with her every step of the way.”

We hope that Sarah gets all the help she needs, and that Girls Aloud reform and make loads of new albums.

    I was a big X Factor fan, but this year I'm not watching at all. I looked forward last year to a shake up of the judges but the only one I wasn't keen on is the only one they kept. Without Cheryl, Danni and Simon I didn't think it would be worth watching anymore, and I'm not missing it at all. I also didn't like that the live shows were to be longer, they were already pretty long anyway. Instead of getting more viewers this has probably lost them some.

    Simon Cowell can get the boat with his bad self, it's clear that the judges are told what to do, who to put through, who to save, etc etc, otherwise what the hell is Johnny doing there?! It's an absolute joke. Last night Nu Vibe were better than Frankie in the sing-off, but who was saved? Frankie of course, even though he can't sing to save his life. The whole show is an absolute farce at this stage, it's not a serious singing competition anymore, it's not credible so maybe Simon needs to look at himself and what he's done to the show before he blames anyone else. The only good thing about it is that it's not the Simon and Cheryl show anymore, and Gary Barlow is easy on the eye. Phew, rant over!

    The XFactor is awful this year. Hardly any acts are worth watching and the judges aren't brilliant.

    With the X Factor story maybe people have just decided to start going out on the weekend. I know people who do plan their winters around the weekends tv but i couldn't sacrifice a life for the sake of X Factor.

    Repeating the news and thinking that adding a cideo to it makes it all the more interesting. Cutting a pasting the news from other sites doesn't make it your gossip either. Sorry HW bitch sesh over.

    HW, i know you don;t listen but can you speed up the news please. I knew about sarah harding going to rehab BEFORE the weekend! Also i am incredibly surprised you haven't mentioned the fact that Zachary Quinto (spock in the star trek reboot) came out as a gay man this weekend!
