Susan Boyle says fame has helped her grow up

Most people say that fame can be terrible, but Susan Boyle says it’s been really good for her.

Su-bo told The Sun “It’s alleviated the loneliness. I was very isolated before, just at home with my cat Pebbles. But I don’t feel lonely any more, I don’t feel isolated. Everything is upbeat, more positive.

"The doors that have opened and people I’ve met have made me behave in a better manner, less childish. It’s made me grow up a bit. It’s made me more confident and sociable. I was painfully shy before but now it’s getting to the stage where people can’t shut me up.”

We think this is an excellent excuse to watch the moment that Susan Boyle became a megastar again. It always cheers us up if we are feeling a bit sad. The best bit is Simon’s expression.

    As for the Greg and Ellie story, if only i could get rid of my partner. Still be with him but move him and his junk out of my flat. Love him to bits but sometimes he can be a right pain in the backside. If it works for them then good but it does seem that they're prolonging the inevetable.

    When is Steve not ranting about the X Factor, my guess is he's still bitter and can't get over the fact that he's just not good enough as a singer. If he was then he'd probably still be in the charts. It is a bit of a shame to see stars like him win and then fade away after their first single/album. They did fuck him over a bit but that was years ago and i think everyone's kind of moved on now.

    steve brookstein wouldnt get past the producers now a days. I understand they were probably trying to commercialise him, but surely he could have done something with his fame to try and go in the direction he wanted? when he first won he could have easily booked his own gigs after leaving the label. hmm I dont know, I feel the whole this wasnt right for him so its almost his own fault for auditioning....

    I think that everyone is too rude about good old Steve Brooksteine or however you spell it. Poor guy, he was fucked over and x factor is a load of bullshit when it comes down to it, so he's entitled to a little moan. It's funny to watch but I sure as hell wouldn't wanna be the mug that won the first series and was promised the world but instead got treated to a KFC and then Simon Cowell wiped his arse on the napkins! Insert something about Subo at the end that I've forgotten about
