Her daughters told her to do, most of the women on the planet thought she should do it, but apparently it took a psychic to persuade Demi Moore to get rid of her rat of a husband. The actress has always sought spiritual advice throughout her life, and the case of her divorce from Ashton Kutcher was no different.
"Demi is very reliant on psychics," a friend told The Sun. "She listened when one insisted that to save her health she had to stop clinging to the hope of saving the marriage. Her three daughters had been telling her the same thing, but it was the psychic that tipped the balance." According to friends, Demi was surviving on little more than energy drinks as the strain of the cheating allegations took their toll.
Another friend insists that the actress called time on her marriage because she wanted to set a good example to her daughters, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah. "She wants to set an example to her daughters and this was just something she could not rationalise to herself or them," the friend told Us Weekly. "She still loves Ashton, but feels he went too far and disrespected her and their marriage in a way that can't be taken back."
As well as being comforted by her family and ex-hubby Bruce Willis, Demi has also been leaning on her famous pal Madonna for support. "Demi has been there for Madonna over the years and now it's Madonna's turn to be there for Demi. She has told her she will help her heal and take time out to guide her through this tough time," an insider told The Sun. Well, we suppose Madge does have experience in high-profile divorce.
Now all that's left to do is for the couple to split up their marital home and other assets. We still feel very sad about all this - Demi and Ashton always seemed so happy...
