Crikey, when you plan a romantic night on the town with your other half, the last thing you expect to end up in is a big fight with lots of strangers. Bickering with your missus maybe, but a bottle-throwing drunkard you’ve never met?
Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne were enjoying a night on the town in Hollywood last night when out of nowhere, they found themselves in the middle of a brawl. According to reports, Brody had tried to intervene in an argument girlfriend Avril was having with another girl and ended up getting smashed in the face with a bottle. Apparently, the guy who hit Brody with the bottle had been calling Jenner a “douche” before things escalated and was, according to witnesses, already very drunk.
TMZ report that when Brody was hit with the bottle, friends of the bottle-wielder rushed in to attacked Jenner and Avril, who had been standing next to her boyfriend at the time.
Brody reportedly needed stitches while his girlf was left with a black eye and bloody nose.
Earlier in the evening Brody had taken to twitter to tell the world what a wonderful night he was having with his loverlady and his charity ‘tache...
“Having the best night with the love of my life @AvrilLavigne so happy right now!! ..#Movember CRUSH!! Haha”
In the pic the pair looked thoroughly loved up and happy.
The next day, after the attack, Brody tweeted…
“Interesting Saturday night… Just got of the hospital with a new scar on my face.. Charges/chargers!!!”
So far no arrests have been made.
