We don’t know about you, but we’re still shedding crocodile tears after the final edition to the Harry Potter franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, aired this year *sob sob*.
No longer will we get our fix of those three clever clog Hogwarts kids, running around causing mischief and trying to solve any kind of impending doom with the flick of a wand. All together now: “Wingardium Leviosa!”
Now that the stars of the hit franchise are all grown-up, you’d think a part of them would miss frolicking about in that itchy school uniform. Well apparently Harry, played by Daniel Radcliffe, is glad to see the back of the outfit, especially those pesky round glasses. The actor says,
"We put the glasses on and eventually we realised I was allergic to them…I was allergic to the Harry Potter glasses because these two rings of whiteheads and spots had come up around my eyes. It took us about a week to realise that it was actually the glasses."
Well in film world, round glasses, a spotty face and having an owl as a pet would be considered ‘social suicide’,but Harry signified geek chic and we miss them all greatly. We’ll just have to settle for watching the DVDs over and over.
