The stars of the Twilight Saga glammed up for the LA premiere of Breaking Dawn: Part One last night – giving us a chance to gawp at the prettiness of a suited Robert Pattinson. We should probably point out that Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner looked good too.
After a screening of the film 3000 guests (wow!) hotfooted it over to a huge marquee on the roof of a car park just behind the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. The lucky guests were of course treated to a totally spectacular party…
Brazil
Using the Twilight wedding and honeymoon as a theme, one room was transformed into a tropical paradise, complete with a sandy beach and a waterfall to represent Bella and Edward’s tropical Brazilian honeymoon. The “beachside” buffet included Brazilian treats, including herb-roasted barons of beef and chicken and black bean empanadas.
Comfort food
To represent the fictional town of Forks, there was a load of warming, “rainy day” comfort food on offer including grilled cheese sandwiches (yum) and pacific swordfish.
VIP
Kristen and Robert were also able to gorge themselves on a recreation of Bella and Edward’s luxury five-foot wedding cake, which was surrounded by a 15-foot floral arch. The Twilight stars both relaxed in their own private VIP areas with friends and family, but their tables were adjacent and overlooked the entire party.
R-Pattz was certainly dazzled by the party, “It's like an alternate reality,” he told MTV.com, “My everyday life is so boring, and then you go to these things and everyone thinks something cool is happening.”
