Coronation Street actress and former Hearsay member (because let’s face it, we don’t get enough opportunity to reference Hearsay) Kym Marsh has spoken out about her joy of becoming a mother to her beautiful baby daughter Polly, and how close she feels to her after the tragic death of her son, Archie.
Kym, who is engaged to long term beau, Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas, experience tragedy two years ago when the couple lost their baby Archie after he was born 18 weeks early. The actress already has 2 children from a previous relationship, and claims that since having daughter Polly she has felt incredibly blessed after losing Archie.
“I realise how lucky I am, because when I was younger I hadn't had to go through what I've been through since…You take having a baby for granted at that age... she's so wanted because of what happened with Archie and because of what I went through to get her here in the first place.” Kym went on to say,
"My other two are grown up now, so they don't care that I pay her so much attention. She is a special baby to us all because of everything that has happened…My dad is obsessed with Polly and I actually think that's why. I strongly believe there's an essence of Archie in her."
Well we are incredibly happy for the couple, and wish them all the best. After all, Kym now has a new baby and wedding to plan around!
