Cheryl Cole has today tweeted ‘her girls’ from last year’s X Factor, Cher Lloyd and Rebecca Ferguson, but forgets to mention her other girl Katie Waissel.
Cheryl, 28, wrote on her Twitter page earlier today: ‘Feels like I’ve blinked and we’re back in November, it’s been a crazy year. So proud of what my girls have achieved @CherLloyd and @RebeccaFMusic are doing so well!!’
To which Katie tweeted back saying ‘@CherylCole Ouch lol @RedVelvetLovers (her new band).
She also forgot to mention her wildcard Treyc Cohen – oops!
The ‘Fight for This Love’ singer has had a whirlwind year with getting back with/breaking up with ex-hubby Ashley Cole and getting axed from the US X Factor, so hasn’t had a lot of time on her hands. But despite how close she was with her X Factor protégées, she has given them the silent treatment for a whole year.
Chezza’s mini-me, Cher, made headlines earlier this year by slamming Cheryl about her lack of contact with the girls.
She said during a radio interview in August: ‘I didn’t have her mobile number to begin with. I’ve got more chance of winning the lottery than catching up with her’.
The usual pouty lip Cher didn’t even reply to Chezza’s ever so sweet tweet. Meanwhile, the ‘Nothing’s Real But Love’ singer, Rebecca, understood.
She recently told New! Magazine: ‘I feel a little sad about [not hearing from her], but she has a much busier life than me. I have seen how busy it is just at my pace, so I wouldn’t like to think what it is like at hers’
The mother-of-two was very excited about Chezza’s earlier tweet and told MTV.co.uk: ‘That makes me really, really happy actually. I’m gonna tweet her back now’.
I’m sure Cheryl’s very glad you’re understanding Rebecca... maybe she will miss Cher out too next time.
