Everyone loves The X Factor, right? Well we definitely do and it seems it’s all anyone can talk about at the moment. But one man is not so impressed. Namely, Peter Kay. He just can’t understand what all the fuss is about:
"I'll only be watching because there's nothing else on. It amazes me people are so wrapped up in it.”
Er, yeah, we so don’t understand them either… It’s not like we have Sky Plussed the whole series and spend out days debating just which member of Little Mix we like the best.
But Peter didn’t stop there, he really dug the claws in, labelling the show ‘dull’ (OH NO HE DIDN’T!).
"The bottom line is it is as dull as dishwater. You know when you are in a bad do when they're all in Marks & Spencer ads."
Which is funny, because who doesn’t remember Peter’s turn as Mr Marks and Spencer last year?
Peter also dared joke about the whole Frankie Cocozza debacle:
"I bet they're kicking themselves about Frankie Cocozza now that they've stuck him on that ad!”
"I bet he gets quickly whipped out! You'll be watching the Marks & Spencer ad tonight and his face will be blurred out! People will be going to Marks & Spencer to try and get drugs now!"
Ok so that last bit did make us laugh, but we still love X Factor, whatever Peter Kay reckons!
