If there’s one thing that Victoria Beckham loves, it’s fashion. So winning a fashion awards was always going to be a big deal for the pop star-turned designer.
Posh scooped the Designer Brand of The Year award at last night’s British Fashion Awards, and was so delighted by her win she broke down in years three times. Ahhh, bless Posh’s (designer) cotton socks.
The 37-year-old mum-of-four told the audience at the celeb-packed event, "I'm so sorry for crying. This is really rubbish of me. I am so nervous, this means so much to me. Without David I wouldn't have had the courage to do what I'm doing.”
Posh beat the likes of Stella McCartney, Burberry and Tom Ford to land the impressive Designer Brand of The Year accolade. She later thanked her team with a message on Twitter, “We won!! Thank u so much to my amazing VB team!!!! Designer Brand of the Year at the British Fashion awards! X VB”
We love an unlikely celebrity friendship, and they don’t get much more fantastically odd than Robbie Williams and X Factor reject Johnny Robinson.
Rob turned up to The X Factor on Sunday with the intention of helping out boys mentor Gary Barlow, but instead he ended up bonding with Johnny over their shared love of all things extraterrestrial.
“Robbie was a gentleman, really lovely and polite and we had a long chat about UFOs as we are both interested in them,” Johnny has told The Sun.
“We’ve both seen UFOs and I have done a lot of research into it so Robbie was interested in talking about it. I think I like him more than Gary Barlow now – we have more in common.”
Quick! Somone give them their onw TV show - UFO Hunting Woth Jon and Rob.
Actress Eva Longoria has admitted that she’s over her split from her rat-bag ex-husband Tony Parker, because she’s so in love with new boyfriend Eduardo Cruz (as in Penelope’s younger brother).
The Desperate Housewives star told Vanity Fair Spain, “It stands to reason that I should be angry and resentful, but I am not. I was very lucky to find Edu.”
We hope Tony Parker reads this a feels both angry and resentful – the fool! And good on Eva for moving on and finding happiness.
