Ahh! We have more happy wedding news for you this evening – Westlife’s gorgeous Mark Feehily says he will be getting hitched to his long-term boyfriend Kevin McDaid next year, after all the final Westlife commitments have been met.
The singer revealed he was actually planning to marry his beau this year but with the band’s final album preparations and tour details to sort out, they didn’t have enough time. So 2012 it is then!
“We plan to get married as soon as possible but it’s about finding a gap to do it,” Mark revealed to The Mirror.
“It will definitely be next year. We want to do it as soon as we possibly can, but we want it to be right as well. It's finding the time and doing it right. We've no reason to rush it or say, 'Let's just f**king pick any church or hotel or venue in the country'."
He’s got a point – the pair have been together since 2005, so there’s no need to rush things. Mark went on,
“We've been so committed to Westlife that while we've had big gaps when we're not working, you have to plan so far in advance for a wedding. So you really don't have time to plan. We've pretty much got the time to be getting on with the wedding now."
Aw bless, we’re very excited to know that the final Westlifer to tie the knot will be doing so next year – and he won’t have to worry about all the usual work chaos when he jets off on his honeymoon either.
