You know how it is; you’re Alex Zane off the telly. You’ve popped out to the shops for some crisps and a Dairy Milk. Then out of no-where, dozens of mimes appear and attack you, even worse there is a photographer around. Luckily the 'attack' mostly involved jumping around and dancing like a drama teacher.
These strange dark creatures were running around London to promote the launch of a new ride at Thorpe Park when they stumbled across poor little Alex Zane.
Apparently Alex took his encounter with these strange creatures in his stride, but we’re not sure what else he could do apart from politely ignore them. It’s his own fault for wearing all black; they probably thought he was their mum.
The things were a ‘swarm’, which is the same name of the new rollercoaster at Thorpe Park. Apparently Swarm is going to be the world’s first ever winged rollercoaster, and will give riders the sense of flying because ‘there is nothing above or below them’. We’re not sure how it will work, magic is the most logical explanation.
It will include a head-first 127 inverted drop, which sounds terrifying! Sign us up, we wonder if Alex Zane will want to have a go on it too?
