Uh oh, a celebrity has done it again. Sex and The City star Chris Noth (aka Mr Big, in case you’ve been living under a stone) has compared the show that shot him onto the big screen with cancer, not smart.
Chris starred in the show from the offset and has featured in all of the franchise’s films. However, it seems that he does not look back too fondly on his time with the lovely ladies. The actor was being interviewed by the Irish Times when he made the comment, he says,
"Sex and the City - it's the cancer," "Global media, you can't get away from it. I'm laughing. There is not much for me to say about it anymore. It is hard to try and rediscover new ways for yourself to be excited about it."
We think comparing a career that has earned the actor hoards of cash and a potentially plush lifestyle to a devastating disease was probably not a wise career move. This controversial phrasing from the former Law and Order star is bound to rile up complaints the world-over.
We personally don’t follow Chris’s crazy rant, probably because we’re loyal fans of the show and the films! In fact, we’re going to pop a DVD in now. We knew she should’ve chosen Aidan.
