Things are looking up for Christine Bleakley, who recently got axed from ITV show Daybreak and had to leave the show a month early.
The presenter will be hosting this year’s Dancing On Ice, taking the place of Holly Willoughby. She and Holly seem to be on good terms – they were catching up at a football match. After the game, Holly took Christine out for dinner. The pair reportedly joined Dan Baldwin at a top west London restaurant.
Christine said in a recent interview: “It's a real pleasure and an honour to think of the new year in a positive way.”
Speaking of future co-host Phillip Schofield, she added: “Phil is lovely - I've watched This Morning since I was no age and he's a bit of a god in the telly world.”
Jennifer Ellison, Heidi Range and Sadie Frost are a few of the celebs set to take part in Dancing On Ice, which will start next year.
Although her departure from the breakfast show was a quiet one, Christine tweeted on December 5: “Had a really great day. Feel so blessed to have worked with such brilliant people on @Daybreak.”

Christine will also be working with Phillip when presenting Text Santa, which aims to support a range of charities, such as the Samaritans. It will be starting next week.
As reported in the Daily Mail Online, Phillip said: “The show is packed with content, it won’t be just Christine and I standing there holding the fort ourselves, there will be so much going on.”
