When they were flirting and bending over a lot in front of each other in the I'm A Celeb jungle, we all naturally assumed that Mark Wright and Aussie model slash DJ Emily Scott were going to – as Marvin Gaye would sing - “get it on”. But they didn't. She got voted out and he made it very clear in his exit interview that he didn't want anything romantic to happen. A bit embarrassing, really, considering how much she gushed about fancying him when she got the boot.
Well, it appears that Emily Scott isn't the type to give up easily. Yesterday evening the I'm A Celeb contestant was snapped arriving at London's Heathrow Airport, where – rather randomly – she was collected by none other than “fellow DJ” Dane Bowers. As well as doing a few DJ-ing jobs around the UK, including one alongside Dane Bowers, Emily is also scheduled to do a night at Faces in Essex. Yes, that's right, favourite haunt of the TOWIE crew.
Since he left the jungle, Mark's talked about moving away from Essex (we won't mention the Hollywood plans), so Emily may well miss him entirely, despite being in his home county. However, we can't imagine Lauren Goodger will pass up the chance to see her potential love rival in the flesh. We'd put money on her turning up at Faces and introducing herself. Then again, maybe we've got it all wrong. Maybe Emily is heading to Faces purely because they have nice, erm, turntables in there. Or maybe she's secretly in love with Dane Bowers?! OK, that one is a bit unlikely.
Mark has said (rather patronisingly) about Emily's interest in him, “It’s an absolute privilege to hear that a beautiful girl fancies me and she really is a lovely person.” Yeah, that will really make her happy. And what about Lauren? Does Mark's ex of ten years worry that the Aussie could be about to steal away her man? What does she really think of Emily? We know the answers, but you'll have to wait for Tuesday's stonking Christmas Bumper issue of heat to find out...
