We all know that George Clooney like to play the odd on-set trick when he’s filming a movie – just ask Ryan Gosling all about it. But the prank-loving star didn’t smear meatballs on his shoes for a joke - he did it for love.
We’ll explain… George has revealed that when he first saw his beloved pet dog Einstein on a rescue website he immediately called the shelter as asked to adopt the homeless pooch. But being a super-successful Hollywood star wasn’t enough to guarantee that George could take Einstein home, George was told that the dog would have to love him, too.
"I start to panic that Einstein is not going to like me. So I run into the kitchen, where I have these turkey meatballs, and I rub them all over my shoes... Who knew Einstein was such a food whore on top of everything? He throws himself at my feet.” George tells Esquire magazine.
“Now he just thinks of me as the guy with the meatball feet. He loves me. I can do no wrong. He follows me everywhere.”
Awww, this is just too cute! We love tales of celebrity animal lovers.
