Glee actress Lea Michele has said that she thinks New Year’s Eve co-star Ashton Kutcher is “the hottest guy”.
The pair play just one of the gazillion couples in the film, alongside Zac Efron, Michelle Pfieffer, Jessica Biel, Hilary Swank, Katherine Heigl, Ludacris, Halle Berry and Robert De Niro.
In an interview with New York Magazine, Lea was asked if she was curious about who would play her love interest in the film. She responded, glee-fully: “I was! Garry [Marshall, the director] was like ‘Who do you think is cute? What guys do you like? Who do you want to be in this movie with you?’
"And I was like, ‘I don’t know, I’ve never been asked before! I didn’t mention Ashton’s name because, I gotta say, I kinda felt like he was a little out of my league."
She added: "You know, this guy’s like, the hottest guy, and then when they called and said that Ashton was doing it, I was really freaked out.
“I thought I should have picked someone else and said, ‘You have to use this person!’ so I wouldn’t have been nervous. But I’m so glad, because he challenged me, and it was a really good pairing, I think.”
There are rumours bouncing about that the pair are dating following some giggly displays of affection on the red carpet, and Lea has recently split from boyfriend Theo Stockman...
But Ashton appears to be keeping a low profile with his personal life while things blow over. The Two and a Half Men actor is fresh from a split from wife Demi Moore amid allegations that he’d cheated on her.
