We'd almost forgotten all about Lindsay Lohan's $1million Playboy photo shoot. You know the one her recent four-hour jail sentence was delayed so she could complete work on the nudie pictures.
Today, we've been given a great big reminder all about it, as the Playboy cover has leaked online. Lindays looks very '50 pin up/Marilyn Monroe/blonde bombshell on the cover. Naked except for a pair of black heels, Lindsay's modesty is preserved by a Playboy bunny chair. We can't imagine her blushes have been spared on the pages inside.
Playboy boss Hugh Hefner has said of the styling for the cover, "It's a classic tribute, inspired by the original Tom Kelley nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe. [It's] classy, very classy."
All in the best possible taste
Echoing Hugh's sentiments, Lindsay's mother Dina defended her daughter's decision to strip off for the iconic man's mag, saying the shoot was very tasteful.
"It was an opportunity for her and she's done thousands and thousands of covers...she's 25 now. It was just something that was her decision...we have a contractual say in how far it goes and her and Mr. Hefner will decide. It will be tastefully done."
To be fair, if someone offered us a $1million to pose for Playboy we'd probably do it too. We have no idea who'd want to see our flabby bits, but we'd still do it.
I didn't think about the world seeing me naked
UK model/girl-about-town Daily Lowe also posed naked for Playboy this year, and after her issues hit the newsstands she did seem to slightly regret her choice to bare all.
"When I did the shoot it was just me and a photographer. I didn't think about the whole world seeing me naked. Every one can see my nunny. My gran was cool and said, 'If you've got it, flaunt it.' But mum and dad weren't so impressed."
