X Factor’s Little Mix makes our hearts melt at the best of times. When we heard about their individual struggles with school bullies, we fell in love with them a little bit more. Is it too late to vote some more?
All four members revealed how they all had fallen victim to bullies before winning the X Factor.
Jade Thirwall didn’t have an easy ride at school. She admitted to the Mail, “I used to get bullied, I used to be the school swot and kids threw paper at my head because I was doing better than everyone else.”
She continued “The people who are like that are people who see you doing well and they don’t like it. It’s the same as Jesy now, they’re seeing her doing well and they think ‘how can I put her down?’”

Lots of Little Mixers have now been tweeting to ask the girls how they coped with bullying, and there’s talk of signing up to promote an anti-bullying charity.
Slender Perrie Edwards said “I think it’s good to look curvy, whatever size you are it’s good, girls come in all shapes and sizes. “Leigh-Anne Pinnock added “We’re not perfect and we’ve made it.”
Beat boxing beaut Jesy Nelson, was forced to move schools five times and nearly quit the show after being called nasty names.
However, the curvaceous barmaid wasn’t letting the comments ruin her chance to succeed. She told heat: “I'm a size 10/12. I know that I'm not fat. I'm not going to change. My mum told me to ignore it, so I'm going to!”
It’s true what they say, mums know best!
