She might currently holidaying in Barbados with her pop-star boyfriend Max George, she might be one of the sexiest girls on the planet – she might even have won awards for being her sexy self in Coronation Street. But according to Michelle Keegan – she loves nothing better than a night out at her local pub, beer in hand and then a kebab for afters. How very unshowbiz!
"I love going down my local. It's much better than all that glam, posh stuff,” she revealed. "I'd rather have a pub quiz then a kebab and chips from my local chippy to be honest."
How lovely! We reckon that might help her and Max save a few pennies too – after all they are planning a wedding for 2012. But even the boybander insists the pair are far from glitzy when it comes to their private lives and they won’t be planning a sparkly celebrity wedding.
"Michelle and I are together because we want to be and nothing to do with the industry," Max admitted. "I don't think about us as being part of a celebrity couple. I just see her as Michelle and she sees me as Max."
Well, we’re glad to see pretty Michelle likes grabbing a kebab and a plate of chips like the rest of us and we’re also glad the happy couple have managed to get some time together this Christmas without their busy work schedules getting in the way.
Talking about her plans for Christmas presents, Michelle said, “[Max has] got everything! He hasn't got any hair, so I can't get him hair products. He only likes one aftershave so I can't buy him that, and he wears the clothes he gets given at shoots. I'm panicking!”
But it seems there was no need to panic because recent pictures show that the pair are happy enough having a sunny post-Christmas holiday together with the rest of The Wanted and their girlfriends in the Caribbean. And there’s not a sign of a kebab tummy on Michelle either. Grrr!
