Miley Cyrus has taken to Twitter to defend her recent behaviour, the singer appeared to be quite rude towards a fan who wanted a photo of the star. We say quite rude, she actually said “What the f***”. We’re sure Billy Rae won’t be too pleased with his daughter’s way with words!
However, the singer claims she was provoked by the fan in question. The fan asked if she could get a picture with Miley who was on holiday with her actor boyfriend Liam Hemsworth in Costa Rica. However, Miley didn’t have anymore time to pose for photographs and politely declined as she and Liam made their way towards the helicopter waiting to whisk them away. The fan pushed in front of her in an attempt to get a snap, to which Miley simply said “Sorry honey gotta go”, the fan then responded by calling the singer an “a******”.
A shocked Miley then responded saying “What the f***? Are you for real?“. Miley might have gotten away with her sharp response if a fan hadn’t been filming the exchange of words, a video which then went straight to Youtube…and then appeared on the news, oh dear.
In response to this video, Miley tweeted a defense today saying,
‘Been trying not to tweet & just enjoy the holidays but just to clear something up I would NEVER swear to a fan. When someone yells something SO rude making ME look like an “a**hole” infront of fans who I am more than happy 2 take a picture w/I cant tolerate that kind of rudeness…Every1 who was there apologized 4 the womans brusque behavior. She obviously wasn’t a fan. Hope every1 has a Merry Christmas!’
The singer received mixed responses from her fans, but what do you Heatworld citizens think? Should the role model feel bad for her response? Or do you agree with one fan who simply tweeted,
‘She was on vacation, she wasn’t there to take pictures with a bunch of brats, they need to respect that. She was right to say that to the fan!’
