You might have spotted a few rumours doing the rounds that JLS singer Oritse Williams has found himself a new girlfriend in the form of Amy Jane from girl band Vida. But fear not JLS fans, the fella himself has taken to Facebook and Twitter today to deny the romance claims - saying he’s well and truly single and is simply holidaying with “mates”.
Oritse tweeted earlier, “jus so everyone is clear, i'm havin a fantastic time on holiday with my MATES!!!! Ori x”
And shortly afterwards, the 25-year-old told fans on Facebook that he was totally “single” too – obviously trying to make a point.
The rumours of Oritse new love started when The Sun printed a picture of the star holding hands with Vida’s pretty Amy in Antigua (where the whole band are getting a well-earned break). Of course they could have just been out for a stroll together and she fancied a bit of a, er, hand walking through the sand… although we can’t remember the last time we held hands with a bloke mate without trying to eat his face later. And according to sources, Oritse actually invited the red-head on the luxury holiday, which meant she’d be joining the likes of JB's dancer girlfriend Chloe Tangney and the rest of team-JLS for the trip.
But still, the man himself has denied the rumours and for now, we’ll just keep telling ourselves Oritse is still free and single – alongside Aston Merrygold of course who must be loving every minute of his Caribbean lifestyle with all the pretty ladies in bikinis. Sigh. *eats another mince pie*
