We’ve always known that Example can be a bit…uh…gobby. In the past few months alone, he’s cussed Will Young, slagged off Cher Lloyd's Swagger Jagger and upset a whole load of people when he got #gaycrisps trending on Twitter.
But leading by his own Example (see what we did there..?) he’s slagged off The Saturdays again. Referring to a Twitter feud he had with the Notorious girls this summer, he said that the girl band “offer nothing”.
He also took the opportunity to have a go at 2008 X Factor winner Alexandra Burke, saying that he prefers Girls Aloud.
Speaking to the Daily Record, he said: “The problem I had with The Saturdays and Alexandra Burke is that they could be better. They could have better songs and be marketed better.”
“Girls Aloud were an exciting girl group. The Saturdays don’t offer anything. They seem like lovely girls but their record or management label are not good enough.”
Unfortunately, there could be some truth to Example’s harsh words – last weekend, the girls only managed to get to number 23 in the album charts with their latest effort On Your Radar.

Since, Vanessa White has put the LP’s weak performance down to timing, telling Digital Spy: “It was a really busy week and we’ve never released at this time of year in the build-up to Christmas. We’re really happy with it and we’re proud of the album because we had a lot of input."
She added: "We’re really looking forward to performing all the songs on tour so it’s an exciting time!”
Is this a pure case of ‘we’ll make an album we’re happy with and if anyone else likes it, it’s a bonus’? Or do you think the girls are putting on a brave face? Let us know what you think.
