It looks as though singer Pink was feeling the Christmas spirit this year, the kind star forked out $5,000 to save an abandoned puppy, aww.
The poor pup had been thrown from an LA overpass into a river and in turn suffered three broken legs. The singer reportedly paid for the dog’s life-saving operation, however, one journalist had a question on the matter that left the star a little Pink in the face. Gossip site TMZ broke the story and the websites founder Harvey Levin followed the story with this tweet,
‘I think @Pink/">Pink did great by saving a dog. But there’s a debate. Spend 5k on 1 dog that’s really sick or use $$$ to rescue 10 dogs w/ food, etc.’
Pink was less than pleased with Levin’s remark and she responded by tweeting,
‘I do both actually. At least I don’t spend my money employing criminals to go+harass people. Maybe you should save something?’
Oof, we know we wouldn’t want to get into a war of words with the singer. Levin then tweeted a reply, commending the singer’s good deed and trying to clarify his point,
‘You missed my point…Both are noble, but what does (animal charity) Ace of Hearts do with limited resources? 1 or 10???…Let me say again…I think what @Pink/">Pink did is amazing. The Q I was asking is about the dilemma of rescue Orgs…which animals to actually save ...@Pink/">Pink I did not mean to offend you. I think what you did is truly great.’
Good save there Harvey, but Pink is yet to respond so we’re not sure whether all is forgiven just yet. Either way, the puppy made it through the op and has since been adopted by a family. Aww, a little Christmas miracle!
