Disney films will always have a special place in our hearts. As will celebs. So wouldn’t it be fantastic to find out some of our fave celebs’ fave Disney moments? Well, here you go:
Stacey Solomon said: “My earliest Disney memory is from Snow White when the queen goes down into the dungeon laboratory and mixes a potion that turns her into a hag!
“The transformation from a beautiful woman into a hag with boils used to really scare me as a child.”
Strangely enough, Nicola Roberts was drawn to fellow ginger Ariel: “My first Disney memory is of The Little Mermaid. I used to pretend to be her singing the song. I loved her spirit and her long red hair.”
Strictly's Alesha Dixon loved the world Disney took her to: “Bambi was the most beauriful experience and highly emotional. Disney literally transported me to another world that I didn’t want to end!”
Vanessa Hudgens credits Disney with helping her break out of her shell: “I was a very shy and quiet kid until my parents took me to see my first Disney movie, Snow White.
"After that I would always hum and sing the songs and dress up as Snow White.”
Shayne Ward is particularly partial to The Lion King: “It was really sad when Scar killed his brother Mufasa . But Simba got his justice and became king. And rightly so! “
The memories have been shared as part of Disney Junior’s Million Disney Memories campaign.
Each time a member of the public shares their favourite Disney memory at www.milliondisneymemories.co.uk or via Twitter at @_DisneyMemories, the company will donate £10 to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Disney is hoping to raise £1 million to the dedicated children’s hospital, so get tweeting your own memories now!
