The 9 O'Clock News - Cor Blimey, Rihanna learns to speak Cockney!

Posted by 09 December 2011 09:00

Rihanna’s been in London a lot recently, and it’s rubbing off on her because she has started to learn to speak Cockney just like a proper Londoner.

A source said to The Sun: "Rihanna was given the book when she was last over and can't get enough of it. She's been reading phrases aloud in her best Cockney accent and finding it hilarious.
"Spending so much time in the UK has gone to her head, in a good way. She wouldn't have bothered trying to understand dialects before."

Even better Rihanna’s favourite phrase from the book is "Let's get the Britneys in.”

We wonder if this means Rihanna might re-work some of her classic tracks to feature Cockney rhyming slang? We found push and shove is the only one we can think of, do you have any more? We will give out a prize for the best.

She didn't dump him for a pop star, she dumped him for a member of a crappy little reality show boy band...That's much worse.
