It was amazing wasn’t it? Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall did what JLS and One Direction couldn’t, they won the X Factor. And the good times are only just starting for the girl band.
Little Mix will have already pocketed the record deal advance of around £150,000 but that number will be nothing compared to the amount they will make through marketing deals with hair care companies, beauty firms and corporate gigs.
A management source told The Sun, “Offers have been coming in for weeks now. People in marketing spend their lives looking for suitable role models. Little Mix are the full package. The trick will be knowing what to turn down."
Simon Cowell has already hired the songwriter who previously wrote hits for The Spice Girls as well as the writer of several of One Direction’s hits and of course Gary Barlow has been enlisted to write for Little Mix.
The source went on to say: "Simon has made no bones of the fact that he wants the best writers on board. He genuinely thinks the girls can be as big as — if not bigger than — the Spice Girls."
So what do you think?
