Oh we wish it could be Christmas every day… mainly so we can get loads of special festive messages from various music peeps and celebrities! Because it’s always nice to get a little Christmas cheer isn’t it? Particularly when the ones cheering you on are of the famous variety.
Well luckily we bumped into those fitties The Wanted and those darling Rizzle Kicks boys backstage at the filming of the Top Of The Pops Christmas Special (BBC1, tomorrow, 2pm) and they insisted on recording us a very special greeting. And then there were those very attractive Encore fellas who even serenaded us with a song. Bless! We must admit, they have brightened up our day - aren't they all so kind?
Oh and we might have mentioned that we received a few exciting cards in the post too. One was from someone called Beyonce Knowles (you may have heard of her), while another was from a Ms Kelly Rowland (she 'put it down' on The X Factor a few times this year). Then some pretty lady called Nicola Roberts dropped a card off for our Style Editor Jo - and before the week was out, we even had greetings from, er, Kitty Brucknell!
But most exciting at all, which we may have just bragged about to our mum (and yes, she is totally jel') is the special message we got from ‘head judge’ and Take That hottie, Mr Gary Barlow himself.
When we bumped into him out and about last week, he wished us in person and even noted down a little message for our Editor Lucie Cave, the whole heat team and all of you – our fabulous heatworld readers.
He said, “Dear Lucie and all at Heat, seasons greetings! I hope you and the lovely readers of Heat magazine have a fantastic Christmas, and Santa brings you all the presents you've asked for! Love, Gary x”
What an utter sweetie, right? We wonder... how inappropriate would it be if we sent him a card back saying we asked Santa to bring us Gary for Christmas? Actually, he’s probably reading this and already knows! *embarrassed face*
And on that note.,. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
Now, where’s our glass of Baileys… *hic*
