We always thought Angelina Jolie was one of those women who maintained a tough exterior. You’d have to tell the actress something pretty cutting to bring tears to that beautiful, complicated woman’s eyes! Either that or one intense Chinese burn.
It turns out that, surprisingly, none of the above is true. In fact, the Hollywood star has recently revealed that she had a “meltdown” after she finished directing her first ever movie In the Land of Blood and Honey. The actress even claims that hubby Brad Pitt found her crying in the shower, Ange says,
“I had a complete emotional breakdown in the shower and Brad found me crying…I felt this huge responsibility and I felt very small. ‘Who am I to take this on?’…I didn’t plan to become a director, and I still have trouble saying I’m a director…I just wanted to tell this story and I ended up by default being the director.”
The actress claims that the only reason she took the role of director was due to the fact that she felt a great connection to the Bosnian War story. Well she shouldn't be too worried about her efforts, as the film has already been nominated for a Golden Globe.
We think someone should inform controversial Golden Globe presenter Ricky Gervais that Angelina’s a shower crier, because if the comedian’s previous presenting stints were anything to go by, she isn’t in for an easy ride.
