Brad Pitt was sporting a brand new look this past weekend at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala (longest event name ever?). Only this new look was not like the messy beard or bleached barnet of yesteryear, our Brad was donning the sleekest of… er, walking sticks.
Never fear, it’s not a permanent look for the Hollywood hunk, and the reason for his new accessory is actually rather cute. “I was carrying my daughter down the hill [while wearing skis] and I slipped… It was either her or me”, and luckily for little Vivienne, Brad decided to take the fall. Our hero!
The actor, 48, said that actually he “likes the cane” and it will only be a temporary addition to his wardrobe, phew.
It was recently reported that Angelina Jolie bizarrely gifted a waterfall to hubby Brad for his birthday last month. Brad is said to be taking some time off this year in order to build an exotic retreat on the land surrounding the waterfall. Let’s hope his leg is better by then!
