Christine Bleakley really is doing her best to not behave like a typical WAG. The 32-year-old TV presenter has confessed that she’s not planning a lavish, million pound wedding to fiance Frank Lampard.
In fact, it sounds like Christine is about as likely to turn into a bridezilla as she is to return to presenting Daybreak.
“I’m an utterly useless bride at the moment, I’ve never ever tried a dress on. I don’t have any desire for a big fancy do, I’m not the one with the big folder of cuttings. I just want a really fun, happy day. If we can figure a date out all the rest will fall into place,” Christine confessed to The Mirror.
As for when the big day itself will be, Christine admits that Franks footballing duties are making it tricky to set a date,
“You can never assume he’ll be involved in the Euros, but, if he is, that’s six weeks out of the summer. We could nick a day to do it but neither of us want to go back to work the next day – there’d be no honeymoon period.”
Becoming a mum
Christine is of course now step-mum to Frank’s daughters with his ex Elen Rivas, but Christine says she’s not thinking about adding to the family with a baby on her own,
“Having a six- and four-year-old in our lives is a big thing as it is. We are very content. If something happens, great, but I feel funny talking about it as I have friends who have been through tough times.”
We can’t help but think that Christine will be lured into planning a huge footballer’s wife wedding. And we cannot wait to see her dress – when gets round to buying one!
