On America’s Live with Kelly this morning (American morning time) Cynthia Nixon a.k.a Miranda from Sex And The City surprised everyone with her new (lack of) hair cut.
Cynthia has bravely shaved off her hair for her new role as a cancer patient in the play Wit currently appearing on Broadway in the US. She claims that she “was always kind of curious to see what it would be like.”
It must be especially poignant for Cynthia, as she was a cancer patient herself in 2006, when she discovered a lump in her breast, although she never went through chemotherapy and therefore never lost her hair.
When questioned further about her new look, she did admit that she wasn’t sure, saying“ I like it; I don't think I'm gonna keep it forever.” She’s clearly not in love with it and it’s a temporary measure but that is serious commitment to a role.
We applaud you Cynthia and as bald heads go, we quite like yours.
