It seems as though poor Demi Moore has been through much more than we realised in the past week, with details from the 911 call that put her in hospital on Monday being released. An edited version of the conversation between Demi’s three friends and two 911 operators have been made public and in the call her pals describe the actress as having “convulsions of some sort” “burning up” and being “semi conscious”.
The ten-minute recording starts off with one friend admitting Demi smoked something similar to “incense” and that her reaction had clearly been “accidental”. Thankfully, as the call goes on they say her reaction “calms down” and that she is able to squeeze her friend’s hand.
The frantic conversation goes on until the paramedics arrive at Demi's private property by which time they say she is “breathing fine”.
The ambulance was called right away to her Los Angeles home at 10.45pm on Monday night. And following her admission into hospital, Demi’s spokeswoman is released a statement saying, "Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health."
According to reports, Demi's estranged husband Ashton Kutcher had been out drinking in Brazil when he received news of her condition. He arrived back in LA on Thursday – and there has since been speculation that he came home to visit Demi.
Poor Demi, she really is going through an awful time. We wish her all the best and hope the ‘professional assistance’ mentioned by her people will help get her better again.
