We like Chipmunk. He giggles at our jokes and calls us 'man' lots just like we are proper real life mates. So we were very excited to catch up with him this afternoon ahead of his performance at Tickled Pink's 'Girls' Night Out' this Thursday.

So your gearing up to appear at Tickled Pink’s ‘Girls Night Out’. With this all female line-up, how did Chipmunk get in the line up?

Well, once I knew it was raising money for Breast Cancer Awareness I was like ‘count me in’! It’s such a good cause and there are still loads of tickets left!

With Little Mix, The Saturdays and Alexandra Burke on the line up. We bet you are excited about working with such a bunch of hot ladies, right?

Yeah man, I know Tulisa so I love Little Mix. Alexandra and The Saturdays are cool – it’s like all my pals together! So yeah, it’s all love!

Will there be any sneaky chat up lines going on backstage?

Nah man, I’m so not ‘that’ guy! I’m a bit different, I won’t be doing none of that.

Then you must have a lady in your life?

No, I am COMPLETELY single! I am just keeping focused – focused on my music I mean.

Boring. So who would be your ultimate celebrity lady? Kim Kardashian?

No way, no thanks, she is so not for me. It has got to be Rihanna – she must have the best sex appeal in the world. It’s just her don’t give a beep attitude – she’s so confident and outrageous – that is definitely what I would go for in a girl. I like all that! Plus, girls like her too so it’s like a double-whammy! Not that I could go for her though – she went out with my mate afterall!

So you’re strictly bro’s before hoe’s?

(Laughs) I wouldn’t word it like that so don’t put words in my mouth but definitely!

So you must be talking about Chris Brown – what is he like?

...he is a lovely boy.

...Really? So do you think he gets an unfair time in the media?

You know what, I don’t worry about what is written in the press. I just stick his CD on and vibez.

Yeah, nothing like a good vibez! We know you are also a big Drake fan, another one of Rihanna’s exes?

Yeah man, that album (Take Care) is just like the story of my life right now – with all the girls and the lifestyle. Definitely.

It seems like you’ve been away for a while – holidaying with Pixie Lott we hear?

I’ve been in the studio rapping man! But yeah, Pixie took me on holiday for her birthday with her friend. We went skiing! But me and Pixie are JUST FRIENDS. I have lots of pretty friends, right?

Yeah man, Romeo is cool (starts rapping 21 seconds). He’s like my childhood hero! I would never say never to doing something like Big Brother. I already know how to ice skate – so Dancing on Ice would be boring – I think I’d like to do Strictly!
