Exclusive! Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s divorce: it’s getting nasty!

More details of Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s are emerging – and it looks like things are going from bad to worse.

According to a pal of both Katy and Russell’s the former couple are no longer on speaking terms, “The last time they spoke was before Russell made the divorce announcement. Neither of them wants to speak to the other. It’s turned pretty ugly,” the friend tells heat exclusively. “A meeting was due to take place in LA next week to discuss various things, but that’s looking unlikely now. Russell’s been tackling this face-on, but Katy’s approach has been to hide away and lay low.”

Katy and Russell are due to meet up for the first time since news of their divorce broke on 30 November, the now-estranged couple are thought to be meeting up in LA to discuss what to do moving forward.

    you missed the word "divorce" in the first sentence heat, and it was December 30 not November..

    Let's be honest, the media was against this couple from the word go. It's only natural that the vultures are circling and picking at the bones. Poor Katy and poor Russell.

    All these stories about them are becoming a bit blah and samey. Why do we need constant pictures of them emerging from their houses etc looking sad faced, do they not deserve a bit of privacy?

    How is this a nasty divorce. Apparently she wants it to be amicable and be on good terms with him. As far as we know she's not said anything bad about him and he's not really said anything bad about her. It's hard to know what to believe unless it comes from them.

    Well, out of the two of them, I would imagine she would be the one trying to save the marriage. He must have something amazing about him, she must see a side of him no one else does because all I see is a skank. Good luck to her.
