The former couple attempted a to conduct a civilized conversation when they crossed paths, but their chat accidentally descended into a petty squabble. According to on-lookers, when Heidi mentioned an expensive gift that she’d bought for her DJ ex he snapped back, “Well, I still pay for your Sky.” Ah, how very mature.
Dave later spoke about the end of his relationship with the Sugababe, revealing that he ended things so that they could be friends in the future, “ One of us had to be a c**t now so we could be friends in the future, and that had to be me,” Dave tells The Mirror. “It was for the best. But I'm fine - really I am. We both are. We're still friends and I'm actually about to meet her for a drink.”
We actually loved Heidi and Dave as a couple, so we do hope they can stay friends.
