Jennifer Garner: “I feel 17 and a half months pregnant!”

Jennifer Garner is due to welcome a new baby into the Affleck-Garner family this spring, but the actress has admitted that she looks and feels like she’s due way sooner.

Chatting about her third pregnancy – the new baby will join big sisters Violet and Seraphina – on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno the Juno actress confessed that members of the public have wrongly guessed how far along she is.

“It's going to happen but not for a while,” said Jennifer. “It's not until the spring, I just look like I'm 17 and a half months pregnant – basically that's how I feel!

“I had one gentleman at a restaurant who said to me in November, ‘Oh, Merry Christmas!’ I said, 'Merry Christmas to you’, and he said, ‘No, you're going to have a Merry Christmas clearly.’

“I realised he meant I would have the baby for Christmas, and I'm not due until a couple of months from now! I was like, ‘Dude, I'm not due for months, you should know never say that to a woman!’”

The absolutely stunning 39-year-old actress then joked about the appropriate things to say to a pregnant woman, “All you can say is, ‘Wow you look tiny, how gorgeous are you? Look how thin your thighs are! Wow, way to go!’”

All we can say is we can’t wait to see the latest addition to Jen and Ben’s super-cute brood.

I wish all these pregnant celebs would stop moaning about their bumps etc. What the hell did they think was going to happen to their bodies during pregnancy? They should think themselves lucky.

I wrongly assumed a woman I was serving was only about 3-4 months pregnant, cos she was very petite, but she got very insulted cos she was 7 months pregnant, what's that about? I wouldn't have even asked her about her pregnancy but she was in getting her ring sized (I worked in a jewellers) because her fingers were swollen, and I was advising her to wait til later in the pregnancy to get her ring size taken and she may or may not need her ring resized, but somehow I put my foot in it.

My 3rd pregnancy was a bitch, way harder than the first two. Its like your body has had enough after 6 months, and i was the size of a bus by the end

I would say, "your bump is huge". Is that considered rude? Or "your bump is huge, when are you due?". Never really thought about it, but you can't expect someone to say "wow you're so thin", when you have a massive bump sticking out.

I'm 7 months pregnant (about the same as Jennifer) and I can only 100% agree with her. People keep saying to me "Wow, you're huge!". Stop it!!! You wouldn't say that to a non pregnant person. Someone said the other that I looked "healthy" I thought that was a better compromise :-)
