TOWIE star Lauren Pope will appear on The Silicone Scandal tonight on ITV1 to talk about the moment that she found out her breast implants were Poly Implant Prothese (PIP) and the very real possibility that she may have to have them removed.
The French government is calling for all women with PIP implants to have them removed as they have a high rupture rate which could cause serious health problems.
Lauren, who previously dated Celebrity Big Brother star Kirk Norcross, talks candidly about the moment she was told her breast implants could potentially be unsafe on the show this evening.
When we contacted Lauren’s management they said that it’s “likely she’ll have to” have the implants removed, along with the estimated 40,000 other women in the UK who also have PIP breast implants.
We also spoke to Lauren’s PR who admitted she wasn’t sure if her decision to have corrective surgery will be “saved for the show”, which certainly suggests that Lauren will be back for the fourth series of The Only Way Is Essex at the end of this month.
Poor Lauren. It’s scary to think that cosmetic surgery could lead to corrective surgery for so many women in the UK.
