Liam Neeson has recently revealed that he has forbidden his family from arranging a surprise party for his upcoming 60th birthday, and that he believes he's too old to start dating again. The actor claims that he also hates celebrating how old he has become.
The silver fox, who stole our hearts in Love Actually, sadly became a widower in 2009 when his wife, fellow actress Natasha Richardson, died after a skiing accident. The star claims that he isn't on the lookout for love as he believes he's too old to date. When asked, Liam confessed,
"Nah, Because I'm 59, you know? I think I'm past my due date. I just feel it."
When asked about his birthday the actor then revealed he doesn't know how he would celebrate, because again he believes he's too old to 'party'. Liam says,
"I hate it. I'm not going to celebrate it. What am I going to do? Go to a strip club or something like that? I can't do it...My sons were saying the other day, 'Dad, we're going to throw you a big party for your birthday'. I said, 'No, we're not!'"
Well Liam, you must be doing something right. We know hundreds of women who would cut off their own arm for a date with the actor and his swoon-worthy Irish accent...we include ourselves in that statement.
