Reports have surfaced that Lindsay Lohan is in talks to play Elizabeth Taylor in a TV movie about the legendary actresses’ life.
The movie, which is set to be filmed later this year, is rumoured to star Li-Lo and will focus in particular on Elizabeth Taylor’s stormy relationship with Welsh actor Richard Burton. The couple married, divorced, re-married and divorced all over again during the mid-1970s and her relationship with Richard was said to be the most turbulent time in Elizabeth’s life, but also the true love of her life. Aww.
In total Elizabeth was married seven times and lived a long and full life, sadly passing away from congestive heart failure in March last year.
Lindsay is said to be front runner to star in the project after impressing producer Larry Thompson. We also wonder if her casting might have anything to do with her recently record breaking cover shoot for Playboy magazine, earning her a cool $1million.
Things seem to finally be going well for the troubled Hollywood star, who spent the majority of last year in and out of court rooms for a variety of offences. Could things be on the up for Lindsay?
