Right-wing group slam Miley Cyrus as 'disgusting'

It seems that super-sweet singer and former Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus can’t do anything right these days. The 19-year-old singer has been trying to enjoy her fame and fortune without upsetting any of her fans or those pesky watchdogs, that was, until she ate some penis cake.

That’s right, Miley posed rather crudely alongside a penis-shaped birthday cake meant for her boyfriend, actor Liam Hemsworth. The picture spread across the internet and it seems as though right-wing group The Culture and Media Institute aren’t too pleased with the star’s behaviour.

The group have branded Miley “disgusting”, claiming that she is “becoming the epitome of the anti-role model for young girls”. But that’s not all, the group have a theory which they call the ‘Miley Cyrus Effect’, they blame the country and pop singer for their belief of a supposed epidemic of “young girls trying to act like trashy adults”.

This isn’t the first time Miley has gotten under the skin of this particular group, as they also slammed her music video for single ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ as being too raunchy. The group claim that Hollywood is to blame for this new generation of bad and sleazy behaviour in women.

Whatever you may think of the teen, Miley has openly put herself behind animal welfare organisations, and become a strong supporter for gay-rights but is that enough to satisfy the watchful eyes of CIM?

What do you Heatworld Citizens think of the star?

It is possible to be a good role model and enjoy the odd slice of penis shaped cake you know!

FFS....She is a woman and can do what the frig she wants, when she wants. The parents are responsible for their children and how they act....not celebrities.

She's 19, she's not a child anymore and people seriously need to lay off her!

I, too, agree with a lot of the comments on here. Yes, Miley had a photo taken with a penis SHAPED cake. I am sorry but it was a photograph. She has not been snapped in an adult movie situation has she. My 8 year old also loves Miley but I too control what she can see of Miley or any other star. One thing that should be said is that at least Miley Cyrus is not one of the 'stars' who parade around in next to nothing clothes, falling out of bars and fighting everyweekend or pictured with a different boyfriend every week. I can I add that I think she looks lovely in the photo on this article. There - thats my say.

At last someone else on here thinks the same as me. Well Said Ninjade, for too long society thinks that celebrities are the ones who should be role models for kids. The first role models of children's should always be the parents.

Let the poor girl grow up! Plus she isnt the only one to do a 'crude' pose with a penis cake and she wont be the last.

Agree with everything that is said below, but again you should control the music videos that they are allowed to see just like you do the internet, again parent responsibilities. A lot of the music channels do not put explicit videos on at 'family time' viewing. Control what your children see then you will have no reason to complain about a 19 year old, that lets face it is probably doing far less worse than you yourself was doing at 19!
