Gwyneth Paltrow: “Depression changed my priorities”
Gwyneth Paltrow has spoken candidly about how suffering from depression changed her outlook on life.
The mother of two has admitted during an appearance on Out Of Character that she re-evaluated her priorities in life when she suffered from post-partum depression after the birth of her son Moses,
“I didn't know really what was wrong with me... It changed me,” said the Oscar-winning actress. “It was great because it also became so clear to me what was important to me.
“At that time I just had no interest in career whatsoever. My agents would be like, ‘This is getting weird. If you don't [get] re-engaged, everyone's gonna forget about you’. I was like, ‘I don't care. I'm not leaving the babies’. It was so worth it.”
Good on Gwyn for putting her family before her career.
