Harry Styles parties with Pixie Geldof

Harry Styles has been enjoying being 18 so far, his birthday was only a few days ago but he’s not wasting a single moment not going out. Harry spent Saturday night at a boozy dinner in Shoreditch House in east London with Pixie Geldof at a party organised by his new BFF Nick Grimshaw.

A source told The Sun: "Harry has become big mates with Nick and was invited out with some of his Primrose Hill pals. He'd only been back from America for a couple of days but still fancied a night out.
"He wanted to carry on his birthday celebration and he knew that with this lot he'd have an interesting time."

What we want to know is where the rest of One Direction boys were. Did anyone spot them out?

Bonus Harry Fact: Peaches Geldof asked for Harry’s phone number a few months ago, he handed it over, but he gave her a fake one. Ouch. We wonder if Pixie and Harry talked about that over dinner.

Debs, I meant 'you' as in 'people in general', not 'you' personally.

It doesn't upset me in the slightest! Just sharing some knowledge.

Regardless, if this kind of thing upsets you, you need to find out what real problems are. I can't understand why it does. As lovely wee Marcus said, if you don't like it, don't listen.

They don't have to give permission as long as they don't change the lyrics - from the lips of Damien Rice that is after he got a load of flak about letting them do Cannonball. All any artist covering song has to do is contact the songwriter or their management to arrange royalty fees.

The song writer has artistic and intellectual copywright on the song. They do have to give permission. I don't understand what the big hoo-haa is about it. It's great when people do songs outside their usual genre. Marilyn Manson's version of Tainted Love was superb and Kelly Rowland's version of Underdog on the Live Lounge is brilliant. What's wrong with going out of your comfort zone? This happened when Mark Ronson released a version of The Smith's Stop Me. Get a grip.

Actually once a writer officially releases a song to the general public, anyone can thereafter, record and release their own cover version of that song without having to ask the writer, as long as the lyrics are unchanged and a few other conditions are met.

the writers of the song have ownership of it, so would have to ok it, therefore the whitestripes and damien rice as songwriters would have given both covers the go ahead. people who moan about rock songs being covered by pop artists, need to look at their idolised rock band for selling out! Or just not listen to it?! either way, they just need to get over it, no need to abuse someone!
